o Perform teller transactions accurately and efficiently
o Balance cash drawer - analyze transactions to recognize and resolve outages
o Dollar amounts of cash outages should be minimal
o Frequency of cash outages should be minimal
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teller policies, procedures, functions, and responsibilities and be able to refer to on-line procedures
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (including BSA, Reg CC, and OFAC).
o Maintain knowledge of Open Solutions including ability to access various account information on the various computer screens for the members (i.e., multiple ownership of individual accounts, overdraft protection, deductions and allocations, Statement Viewer, etc.)
o Maintain pleasant, positive and helpful attitude when dealing with members and co-workers
o Know and adhere to the Service Excellence plays in the ECU''s "Service Excellence Playbook"
o Know and adhere to Mystery Shop expectations
Empathy: Using member''s name, offering additional services, providing undivided attention, using appropriate closing remarks, and displaying a can-do, glad-to service to our members.
Reliability: Performing transaction correctly the first time, ID member when appropriate.
Responsiveness: Appropriate greeting with a smile, face member and make eye contact.
Assurance: Confirm transaction, display willingness to serve, use "please" and "thank you", and offer friendly comments.

o Maintain strict confidentiality toward member accounts within ECU as well as outside of ECU
o Maintain strict confidentiality toward ECU corporate information and assets
o Maintain security of cash drawer at all times
o Be attentive to lobby traffic and follow security procedures for suspicious persons
o Be aware of "all clear" signal, various alarms/security measures, verbal signals, physical signals/procedures following an incident
o Take action to provide/maintain a safe working environment and member environment - Report all potentially unsafe acts/conditions to appropriate personnel

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years fast paced cash handling preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
