Our Upward Bound Programs will operate a five-week, Monday through Thursday (8:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.) Summer Program at Westminster High School located in Westminster, California.
For five weeks, students are involved in an intense academic course in accordance with the California Content Standards. Participants are given a direct opportunity to increase awareness, learn to respect people of diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds, and in some cases, earn high school credit for their courses.

Responsibilities :The Summer Physics Instructor:
Develops and plans a course curriculum in accordance with California Content Standards.
Prepares and submits subject syllabi, weekly lesson plans, & weekly participant evaluation reports.
Administers weekly assessments and assigns a midterm and final letter grade with a brief evaluation of participants' academic strengths, progress, and recommendations for further improvement.

Requirements:
Possession of a California Single Subject Teaching Credential
Minimum of two years experience teaching at the secondary level (6-12)
Must be familiar with working with students that have different levels of ability
