Coordinate daily operation of the physical security and administration.

Duties and/or Responsibilities
Supervise Physical Security to include facility and access operations IAW NISPOM 5220.22-M requirements.
Direct supervision of all security personnel for security watch assignments including maintaining the watch roster.
Coordinate the upgrading, maintenance, and operation of the UL Intrusion & Access security systems.
Provide annual performance evaluations for the Support Services Specialists and Security Specialist Locksmith.
Hire & train new Specialists and supervise the development of security training programs.
Manage UL alarm employee access codes and enter and delete employee UL codes as necessary.
Change safe and closed area combinations as necessary and train others to change combinations and repair locks.
Investigate, prepare & distribute incident reports to include theft and accidents. Coordinate security violation findings
Liaise with fire and police representatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Criminal Justice or related field) or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in industrial security.
Skills: Microsoft Office; knowledge of security alarm systems, building safety procedures, Alexandria City fire codes; good
interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
Physical: Must be able to walk and lift.
