JOB SUMMARY: This position has primary responsibility for oversight of all SPA Wraparound Mental Health Services implementation to children and their families in support of the entire Wraparound Planning Program and Process. The TEAMMATES MHS Supervisor supervises all Wraparound Assessment Therapists in providing Mental Health EPSDT Initial Assessments, Care & Coordination Plans, all Updates, Therapy, and additional County and Agency required documentation. The TEAMMATES MHS Supervisor will also integrate MHS into Wraparound program practices to provide comprehensive continuity of care and documentation. The position will provide trainings, ensure quality assurance protocols are followed, and monitor systems for Mental Health and Wraparound services integration and compliance. He/she acts as liaison with other Star View departments and external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical & support staff.
I. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1.Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in psychology, preferred
2.MS Degree in the mental health field
3.Two  years direct service experience with seriously mentally disordered patients and their families, at least one  year of which must be experience with children and adolescents
4.Two  years’ experience performing comparable functions in a Medi-Cal Mental Health Services [EPSDT] setting
License or Certification
1.Current Psychologist with the California State Board of Psychiatry
2.Current LMFT / LCSW with the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences
3.Valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance
4.Ability to drive to and from locations, offsite meetings and client’s homes, as needed, in personal vehicle
Experience and Specialized Skills
1.Ability to work effectively with clients and caregivers from diverse cultural backgrounds
2.Knowledge of EPSDT documentation and requirements
3.Ability to perform clear, concise and timely documentation and correspondence
4.Knowledge of community resources, especially related to the Mental Health, Education, Medical, and Social Services fields, is highly desirable to make appropriate linkages
5.Willingness to be available by phone and periodically by team pager to assist in crisis intervention and problem resolution during scheduled, after hours and weekends for assigned and team clients
6.Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with seriously emotionally disturbed children or adolescents and their parents, foster parents, caregivers, schools, other staff, physicians, county agencies, other health care and social services providers and the public.
7.Demonstrated understanding/basic knowledge of psychiatric illness and mental health interventions, including a general understanding of co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
8.Ability to integrate Wraparound principals and Psychosocial Rehabilitative interventions into the Mental Health Services
9.Ability to provide effective individual/family rehabilitation and case management services
10.Demonstrated leadership, organization and management skills.
11.Demonstrated ability to visually and audibly evaluate the behavior and needs of potential admissions to the program.
12.Demonstrated comfort using computers and ability to use Microsoft Word and other data entry software
