National Express Corporation is currently seeking a Human Resources Information Systems Supervisor with five or more years of HRIS management experience. This position is based from our corporate office in Warrenville, Illinois and reports to the Director of Benefits and HRIS.

As the HRIS Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations of the HRIS Department; lead a team of HRIS Technicians in providing support to the field for all HRIS tasks; evaluate processes and procedures to create efficiencies; and ensure accuracy and timeliness of processing.

Position Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervising a team of HRIS Technicians in processing HR paperwork for non-exempt and exempt level positions for more than 230 field locations within North America and NEC’s corporate office
  • Managing, modifying, and monitoring existing operating systems to obtain maximum efficiency
  • Partnering with HR functional areas to determine informational needs; develop or modify processes to accurately collect data and provide credible data output for management and operational needs
  • Responsible for complete compilation of critical benchmarking data and reporting needs such as turnover, vacancy rates, and wage data
  • Designing and coordinating data collection processes with other departments to provide correct and accurate user reports
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity through system design and maintenance
  • Ensuring that the HRIS meets the information collection, reporting, administration and maintenance requirements for the HR organization
  • Ensuring processes are developed/revised, implemented, communicated, and administered to maximize the effectiveness of the HRIS
  • Supervising staff including hiring, communicating performance expectations, determining training needs, providing development opportunities, evaluating performance, and dealing with disciplinary issues
  • Researching, identifying, and maintaining best practices in field data management for Human Resources functional areas
Position Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Information Systems / related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of HRIS management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle
  • Demonstrated managerial/leadership experience overseeing a team
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing data
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to proactively anticipate and resolve issues and manage new initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of information technology including Microsoft Office Suite; Crystal Reports preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and project management skills
  • Results driven and detail-oriented
