•The primary purpose of the Supervisor position is the assist the Terminal Manager in the full range of duties and responsibilities involved in the management of the facility, to provide backup coverage when the Terminal Manager is out or unavailable, to gain a more in-depth knowledge and understanding of both the operational and administrative responsibilities; develop and exhibit the necessary leadership, analytical/decision making and managerial skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Assist the Terminal Manager in the oversight of the operation with SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT being the highest priorities next to financial stewardship.
• Supervise staff.
• Lead, train and develop all team members.
•Must be available and flexible to work all shifts as business needs require.
•Fill in for Operators due to business levels when necessary.
•Ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
•Be able to participate in customer meetings to build relationships.
•Maintain and develop safety culture among all team members.
•Ensure that team members receive the proper training to perform their jobs.
•Routine communication and coordination with other corporate departments.
•Complete all applicable documentation and recordkeeping. Computer skills-Excel and word experience.
•Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
•Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:

•High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years Supervisory experience.
•Strong organizational and leadership skills for a multifaceted work environment.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication. Computer Skills Excel and Word experience.
•Detail oriented and customer focused.
•Ability to troubleshoot operational problems.
•Familiar with applicable Federal, State and Local regulatory agency requirements.
•Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.
•Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge, above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position.

•Must be able to see well enough to read gauges, precision measuring instruments, schematics, maintenance manuals as needed.
•Must be able to talk and hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and others within the company 100% of the time.
•Must be able to reach with arms and hands to perform inspection, maintenance and repair duties when needed.
•Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, squat 100%.
•Must be able to see well enough to read gauges, precision measuring instruments, schematics, maintenance manuals as needed.•Must be able to use hands to grasp, handle, finger and feel 100%.
•Must be able to climb and balance well enough to mount equipment by climbing up and down steps as needed.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

Work Environment:

•While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to a high noise level; moving mechanical parts, moving machinery, outside weather conditions and elements; fumes from gasoline, oil and grease. The employee may occasionally be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
