Assists in directing, coordinating and supervising the activities of the department under leadership of the Food Service Director. Supervises employees in the daily operation, control and scheduling of a food service that requires the preparation and service of meals in a timely manner.

REPORTS TO: Food Service Director

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: All Food Service employees

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):

EDUCATION: Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D

EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in Food Service related field

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
  • Communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non verbal communication
