Position Purpose : Support a team of approximately 8-10 cross-functional phone and processing representatives handling back office functions.
Principal Responsibilities May Include :
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients
Oversee daily operations to maintain service level and service quality
Maintain cost within budget guidelines by managing staff levels, overtime, turnover, and other costs
Build an infrastructure of quality controls to mitigate risk on processing transactions
Managing business results within the department
Providing constructive feedback to all levels on multiple facets of information
Ability to take concerns and convert these into opportunities when appropriate, while managing accountability
Support the hiring of personnel, development of performance and training plans, monitor and evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions
Re-prioritize and be flexible with own and the teams responsibilities as issues arise
Assist in career development of representatives by providing feedback, training and coaching
Competencies For Success :
Proven track record of demonstrating, teaching and supporting the Leadership Engine behaviors
Previous experience overseeing daily operations in a processing or service environment
Awareness or knowledge of the Alternative Products preferred
Ability to work in an environment where interruptions are common, deadlines are set, detail is critical and a positive service outlook is required
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
Quick learner with good problem solving abilities and decision making skills
Must possess first-rate follow up, time management and organizational skills
Individual must present confidence as they will be responsible for communicating with large, high profile firms as well as multiple internal business partners at all levels
Series 6 and 26 license preferred or willingness to obtain
Knowledge of Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Employees must have been in current position for at least 6 months, have satisfactory attendance and must meet or exceed current position requirements
