Supervisor, Client Relations (Post-Sale)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises the activities of Client Relations staff responsible for servicing accounts; leads, coaches, and develops staff and provides consistent and constructive feedback; trains, develops, or identifies employees’ training and resource needs; maintains employee personnel records; establishes priorities; schedules daily work assignments, and monitors the quality and quantity of work performed; recommends promotions and terminations and processes other personnel transactions
Analyzes data, identifies trends, and prepares reports related to account servicing activity for management review; develops and documents process improvements; contacts accounts as needed to ensure that service objectives have been met and to facilitate meetings or conference calls with account management regarding account status or service objectives; facilitates presentations to current prospective accounts; travels to accounts as necessary to resolve service issues or secure business relationship
Assists with the development and implementation of approved plans to support the achievement of Department goals and objectives; develops appropriate measures or standards for performance and uses these to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the progress and results of projects and services; ensures the timely and accurate dissemination of information, incentives, rewards, and/or recognition
Performs other duties as required
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and six years of related professional work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years in a leadership or senior level role
Experience in the insurance industry or with Aflac in a service-related department is preferred
Job Knowledge & Skills
Knowledgeable in processes related to acquisition, implementation, service and billing of accounts
