Basic Purpose

Manage staff of National Supplier Incentive Program Coordinators, Vendor Administrators, National Accounts Customer Set-up, Control & Compliance analysts or various combinations to ensure proper set-up and tracking of Vendors and National Customer set-ups as well as the rebate program associated with both.

Manage staff of National Supplier Incentive Program Coordinators, Vendor Administrators, National Accounts Customer Set-up, Control & Compliance analysts or various combinations to ensure proper set-up and tracking of Vendors and National Customer set-ups as well as the rebate program associated with both.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee training of new and existing employees on all process performed by department and monitor progress and make recommendations for improvements

Support ongoing career development of department staff

Provide communication and support to department employees relating to the setting and achieving of personal and departmental goals

Evaluate employee performance and prepare and present performance reviews according to company policy and as needed

Evaluate and take appropriate action in correcting employee performance and conduct

Monitor daily workload of department staff to ensure all business processes are performed

Review and approve time cards and time off requests. Monitor scheduled and un-scheduled time-off against policy

Assist management in monitoring the internal control environment to ensure that proper controls are in place and are being followed

Review resumes, screen applicants, interview potential hires and ultimately make hiring decisions

Assist division personnel and supplier community with dispute resolution

Work on special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

Education/Training:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, preferred Bachelors Degree in Business related field

Related Experience:
3-5 years Supervisory experience required

Experience supervising exempt and hourly associates is required

3-5 years accounting-related background with demonstrated knowledge of AR/AP/GL processes

Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word) required and light Access/Database experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Independent, highly motivated, self-starter who is flexible

Excellent communication and organizational skills in order to work independently and in a collaborative manner at all levels

Experience with Peoplesoft/SIS/Discoverer/PRISM/PRIME/Tandem is preferred

Ability to respond professionally and work calmly under pressure

Good attendance mandatory

Prioritizing day to day functions

Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to plan, organize, multi-task and meet deadlines taking into account changing priorities

Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding, and work-force motivational skills
