Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Supplier Management (SM) is seeking a Supplier Program Manager to manage critical and strategic subcontractors supporting the Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) and Air Warning Systems (AWS) programs. Primary tasks will include but not be limited to: acting as a program manager for Mission Systems suppliers; managing all aspects of critical supplier relationships and performance (technical, quality, cost, schedule); managing supplier performance through all Program phases (development, production, post production support); establishing and monitoring performance metrics; proactively identifying and assessing supplier risks; maintaining priorities for deliveries; conducting root-cause corrective action analysis; developing recovery plans; communicating performance, corrective action plans, resources and status across all stakeholders; deploying best practices and affordability initiatives; conducting on-site evaluations, including performance reviews, rate readiness reviews and regular site visits; measuring key supplier and internal performance indicators, analyzing performance data and preparing visual aids in support of periodic performance reviews. Ability to analyze supplier schedules and manage supplier performance to critical path schedules required. Extensive and specialized knowledge of Earned Value Management System is also needed. Proven experience in software development and hardware/software integration is preferred.
