Responsibilities: The Support Associate I provides support to Ingram Micro Resellers and the Vendor Licensing Team(s) to drive sales and order management execution. The Support Associate I is responsible for executing his/her job duties with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. When appropriate the Support Associate I escalates issues and orders to a senior member of the Sales Organization and/or Management. Requirements: Education: High School degree or equivalent. Two years of college coursework preferred. Experience: One to two years previous support/customer service experience is strongly recommended. Knowledge of: professional effective telephone techniques and customer care. Basic technical and product knowledge. Basic understanding of Ingram Micro programs and services is desirable. Skill in: personal computing or keyboarding. Basic knowledge of Excel required. Excellent communication skills: written and verbal required. Strong organizational skills and problem solving agility also required. Ability to: handle large quantities of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy multi-task respond to rapid change perform duties with accuracy and with a strong degree of urgency prioritize and perform work with detailed supervision.
