Position Summary: This position oversees all aspects of the warehouse, including coordination of inventory processes and direct employee supervision
Essential Functions: Warehouse Objectives • Achieve desired end results in the warehouse within specified parameters • Ensure schedules of inventory replenishment are being followed • Monitor assigned stations and assist in adjustment of inventory levels • Perform quarterly inventories of all areas • Train and provide direction to employees • Shares lessons learned and best practices • Oversee receipt of all shipments following Company approved policies and procedures • File claims for refused or concealed damages • Works with Corporate purchasing regarding returns, item or vendor setup and pricing issues to ensure proper ordering Human Resource Management • Supervision of warehouse staff, set goals and holds people accountable for results. • Responsible for developing these employees’ daily duties and responsibilities. • Ensures coverage for out of office. • Coordinates activities to maximize the efficiency of all processes. • Develops team and is focused on succession plan within the group. • Ensures that employees all have goals and receive regular feedback on their performance. • Performance management of HR personnel including, reviews, corrective action, mentoring, development plans and performance improvement plans. Compliance • Complies and enforces all policies and procedures. • Ensures and inspects paperwork for accuracy and compliance. • Responsible for escalating concerns regarding questionable paperwork to appropriate management. • Has successfully completed all required Compliance Training within the required time period. • Has had no compliance related corrective action during the current review period.
Bar coding systems preferred.
RFID Knowledge preferred.
Multiple County Operation with Multiple Sites in some Counties.
Inventory usage and reconcillation reporting.
Identification of new vendors to develop a more efficient business relationships.
Qualifications: Knowledge of: • D.O.T Compliance and F.D.A. regulations • Sarbanes-Oxley requirements • Inventory Control processes Ability to: • Performed with 100% accuracy due to the nature of our services • Supervise and motivate direct reports • Analyze problems related to supply levels • Research and develop information independently • Make logical decisions based upon the analysis of the situation • Take action independently • Type and use computers • Read and comprehend US English language • Maintain an acceptable driving record Education Requirements: High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required. Two years ware house experience and strong inventory control skills are necessary. Experience in medical supplies and deliveries may be helpful. Automotive parts counter experience helpful. Forklift certification is required. Physical Requirements: This position requires the lifting of 70 pounds on a regular basis. An incumbent will be required to perform extensive bending, lifting and stooping as well as other strenuous activity. Working Conditions: • Works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles (potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood-borne and airborne pathogens), toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration • Noise level can be very loud at times • May work in adverse weather conditions • May work irregular schedule/hours • Must use required personal protective equipment Closing Statement: This brief summary is not an all-inclusive description of job duties.
