Reporting to the maintenance or shift supervisor, the Journeyman Electrician will diagnose and repair of all electrical and electronic systems including CNC machines, PLC controlled equipment, process control equipment and the facility electrical distribution system.
In addition, you will:
Perform diverse and complex assignments in support of GE Waukesha Gas Engines
Maintain plant machinery and equipment from routine electrical maintenance to complex electronic repairs
Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations
Perform preventive maintenance as assigned
Install electrical systems and components up to the 480 volt level
Install and maintain lighting systems
Accurately record repairs, time and material in the maintenance management system
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting
Possess Journeyman status
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Experience in industrial atmosphere
Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs
Familiarity with various CNC machines, including but not limited to Okuma, Makino, and Mori Seiki (Controls include Okuma, Fanuc, and Siemens)
Experience with conduit layout and installation
Ability to read and understand electrical, electronic and PLC schematics
Ability to read repair manuals, handbooks and instructions pertaining to plant equipment
Knowledge of operation and repair of variable frequency drives, servo drives, and DC drives
Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E
