The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Supervisor for our Commissions Department.
Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary
Supervising a team on a daily basis that is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely commission payments to Residential commissioned employees across the Company. Ensure audit controls are in place over commission processing and the integrity of commissions payments are maintained according to Company and department regulations, policies, procedures and governance over commission processing.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for supervising and training/developing personnel to effectively execute accurate and timely commission payments to commissioned employees and/or identify and resolve issues timely affecting proper processing of related commissioned payments.

Ensure all commissions and incentives are paid timely, accurately according to approved commission plans and business rules while adhering to all SOX/audit requirements and the controls around commissions are working effectively

Ensure controls around commission payments are working effectively to prevent errors with over and under payment of commissions, abuse and/or fraud.

Maintain and update all governance and control documents for commission administration.

Work closely with Sales Leaders, Human Resources, HR Compensation and Corporate Payroll to resolve issues and pay employees timely.

Responsible for calculating commissions for commission earned departments, as well as, auditing the earned commission based on commission plans and policies.

Maintains confidentiality on matters relating to payroll commissions and performance.

Provide feedback to commissioned team to increase accuracy and efficiency of commission payments.

Leadership, coaching, and development of team

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field or proven experience

One to three
years of supervisory experience

Proven team player, partnership, troubleshooter, and result oriented.

Multi-tasked oriented; capable of working in fast paced and changing environment.

Supports management to enforce procedures and policies to improve overall commission processing.

Ensure the integrity of commissions paid to agents based on policies and procedures.

Maintains poise under pressure with ability to adapt to changing priorities, develop alternative solutions, and work in a team environment.

Requires strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills in a deadline driven environment.

Proven leadership and management skills.

Some travel will be required.

Overtime will be required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Knowledge in ICOMS / AS400 and or CSG a plus, including the ability to navigate and research within the system(s) and gather information to resolve inquiries
  • Experience with Oracle (OIC) a plus but not required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.

Travel Requirements:
Travel 20%
