• Minimum 5 years experience in systems administration in Windows environment required.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX-based computer administration.
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP and routing – Cisco experience preferred

• Working knowledge of emergency and disaster recovery planning practices and programs
• College degree preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: Work as a member of a 24x7 NOC team that is responsible for tracking and support of all incoming and outbound files, proactive monitoring of business services, networks, and systems while providing a live point of contact for employees, vendors, and partners for all operation issues. Perform monitoring, analysis, and restoration of failed production services to internal and external customers. Responsibilities include:
• Monitor ongoing operations and IT service infrastructure performance with applications set to anticipate IT service problems
• Interpret monitor alert messages and perform required actions
• Coordinates utilization of computer hardware, software and other data processing related systems that support TransFirst internal and external customers.
• Provide technical support for all Enterprise systems, including hardware and operating systems
• Operation and use of diagnostic tools
• Use and provide input to event recording logs
• Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working paramenters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Troubleshoots networking and operating systems problems
• Serve as communication point of contact for coordination of operations event management
• Understand and implement escalation, incident management and change management processes and procedures of the NOC
