System Administrator – Nuclear Medicine
Channel your application support expertise as a System Administrator for Nuclear Medicine within NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Help harness the power of industry-leading technology for life-changing diagnosis and care.
Our newly renovated Nuclear Medicine facility remains on the cutting edge, pioneering advancements in evaluation and treatment of lymphoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and many other conditions.
Help make it possible. As System Administrator, you will provide application services on both software and hardware for internal end-users including residents, physicians and technologists. You’ll also coordinate equipment installations, Hospital and PACS network connectivity, equipment credentialing, and regulatory compliance.
Serve as Nuclear Medicine representative at hospital-wide committee meetings. Investigate new applications, assess need and provide justification for purchase or coordination of beta testing. Provide technical assistance, direction and training in a variety of applications. Join us, and be the face of patient-inspired technological advancement at New York’s #1 hospital.
Preferred candidates are well-versed in UNIX, HL7, Network Administration, Direct end-user software, Direct end-user hardware support. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with three or more years of software application experience. Experience with 24/7 operations is required.
