What we need :
Looking for a systems administrator/developer who is interested in working with the latest web and big data technologies. We are developing leading edge data management solutions using open source SQL and NoSQL technologies built in the cloud. We need smart, enthusiastic, driven individuals to build our team and produce world class solutions for our clients.
Design, develop, and maintain complex, real-time, high-performance server technology architecture
Manage system setup and scalability
Work with vendors to ensure best of class solution is available
Ability to take responsibility and work independently on a small team
Experience with managing an always-on, highly scalable environment is required.
Real-world experience with web servers, TCP/IP, HTTP, inter-process communication and multithreading
Strong understanding of algorithms and software engineering
Strong trouble shooting/problem solving capability
Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
Experience working with cloud based systems
Ability to work in a rapidly changing business environment
Experience building real-time, high-performance systems
Shell scripting and systems maintenance
Vendor and operations management experience is highly desirable
7+ years of professional work experience
BS Computer Science or equivalent experience
