Primary Duties, Responsibilities, & Essential Job Functions:

Degree Requirements:
  • BSCS,
  • BSCE,
  • BSEE, or
  • BS IT

Skills needed/Responsibilities:
  • Windows based systems administration/ configuration/installation skills.
  • The candidate should possess hands-on technical experience configuring, securing, and troubleshooting with Windows® Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2008, MS Exchange 2008, Active Directory and services (DHCP, DNS, WINS).
  • Scripting in Powershell, VBS, Batch, and Perl required.
  • The candidate should possess a general knowledge of VMware ESX, VMware Studio, and VM management.

  • Additional consideration will be consider for experience with Microsoft Exchange, LDAP, programming/scripting skills, eEye Retina, DISA Gold Disk, Microsoft Sysprep, and AdvancedTCA, COMPOSE, GCCS-M, HBSS.

  • Candidate will participate in the generation of monthly build process and provide supporting documentation [Trouble Reports (TR), System Version Document (SVD), and Load Plan/Installation Procedures (IP)], perform software installations, troubleshooting, and perform extensive information systems security analysis and implementation.
  • Candidate should be familiar with the functions of the Windows registry, directory structure, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Both written and verbal communications skills are required.
  • Must be able to work both as a task lead and as a team member.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally (20% year avg.) in support of systems fielding at U.S. military installations; mostly within US.
