The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete system lifecycle development of the enterprise IP Address Management solution. This will include the design of the security for the application and instantiating the business rules for the assignment of IP addresses and the corresponding domain and alias. Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of integration to Windows Domain Servers and enterprise network inventory provisioning applications. Testing and maintenance of the platform is required.
Experience using multiple development methodologies (waterfall, agile, interactive)
Candidate will have experience in all phases of the system development life-cycle including support and maintenance
Experience with telecommunications networks and IP address management
The candidate will be a critical thinker able to solve complex problems and able to work independently while meeting delivery timelines and producing high quality artifacts and configuration items.
Demonstrated knowledge of IP Address Management (IPAM) and Domain Name Service (DNS) solutions, preferably BlueCat Networks Proteus and Adonis
UNIX / Linux system administration skills, advanced level or better
Expert-level knowledge of TCP/IP addressing, CIDR blocks and sub-netting, along with thorough understanding of common ports and protocols
Significant recent technical experience in the deployment, configuration, integration, support, and administration of IPAM and DNS and systems, servers, and or appliances
Demonstrated knowledge of DoD and Federal Information Assurance and security guidelines and process
Demonstrated experience preparing technical and non-technical briefings
Demonstrated experience briefing Government Executives
Ability to take meeting minutes that are unbiased and accurately reflect group discussion and can be used to hold personnel accountable for completing actions
Strong oral and written communication, relationship management and conflict resolution skills. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and resourceful team-player and leader who can effectively work independently
Desired education, certifications, skills, experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems) from an accredited college or university
5+ years of professional experience across the systems development lifecycle
