SYSTEMS PROCESS DATA ANALYST – ADMINISTRATION (MERCY HOSPITAL OF BUFFALO): The System Process Data Analyst provides highly confidential and sensitive support in the processes relative to efficient and complete data abstraction, analysis, and reporting of clinical and financial data, i.e., physician statistics, financial data, etc. Provides technical support and education to the management team in areas related to data management. Associate is responsible for translation of data to workable information necessary to facilitate process improvement and clinical research. Associate will have access to highly confidential and sensitive material. Will lead teams in process change efforts for Mercy Hospital.

SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience Requirements:
·
Three (3) years experience in a Health Care related field strongly preferred.
· Statistical and data analysis experience strongly preferred.

· Good process improvement techniques with an overall commitment to support operational and strategic projects.

· Strong data and clinical analyses, information extraction, utilization of the information to run process improvements, evaluation of performance metrics.
· Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point.
