The Warehouse Lead is responsible for all daily activities within a warehouse environment that include: shipping, receiving, inventory management, repackaging of goods, production of special size filters, delivery to customers and other items as directed by manager.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

o Ensures that safety is a first priority and demonstrates a complete understanding of the company’s expectations as they relate to safety, accident prevention, near miss reporting, and accident reporting.
o Understands and facilitates all expectations from the customer for providing exceptional service
o Responsible for all daily material shipments and receipts
o Handles all returned material for proper storage physically and in the business system
o Performs cycle counts, tTracks and reconciles inventory discrepancies
o Maintains a clean and organized work environment
o Adheres to all company ISO related procedures and policies
o Maintains a neat, organized warehouse with documentation of product locations
o Sorts and repacks materials to comply with customer Ford delivery expectations
o Facilitates order processing and delivery tracking

Supervisory Responsibilities:
o Directs the day to day activities of Receiving, Order Picking, and Shipping personnel in the warehouse and Delivery personnel
o Implements basic training of new warehouse employees including safety programs and procedures

Specific Demonstrated Capabilities:
o Experience with on-line shipping programs, such as UPS, FedEx, etc.
o Proficiency with company’s business software program – Navision, and Microsoft office, especially Excel
* Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or 1-2 years experience
o Bachelor Degree preferred

Interpersonal Skills:

o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Ability to motivate a team and develop a team environmentnt
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License in good standing

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 60lbs.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs regularly throughout the day
Dexterity of fingers for data entry

Work Environment:
Warehouse / associated office work

Required Experience:
Shipping and Receiving background, preferably in a warehouse environment

Required Education:
High School diploma - GED, or equivalent
