General Purpose

Responsible for SW release management for TPIM (NetAct/GR/NPM/NDW/TPIM ) through Lab testing , FOA & deployment in production. Manages technical escalations & ensure customer satisfaction.

Position Description

1) Technical project management at Care Phase

  • Initiates, plans, executes TPIM projects (software/hardware releases, upgrades and updates, change deliveries)
  • Works closely with the customer, TPIM Care manager and other Technical Managers to define the schedule, the dependencies and the resource requirements.
  • Provides coaching and leadership to assigned resources.
  • Executes the lab and production projects, provides guidance for roll-outs.
  • Works closely with the Operations Manager and the Technical Management group for supporting Network Element release projects, identifies dependencies and contributes to synchronization of the entire release management cycle.
2) Technical Escalation at Care phase

  • Leads & manages technical escalations for technical requests from cutomers
3) Supports the customer’s network performance and evolution

  • Acts as the prime technical interface towards customer, subcontractors and 3rd party suppliers as well as internally towards several organizations
  • Liases closely with customer’s technical management to ensure close relationship and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Monitors and reports customer’s live network performance and acts to ensure network’s availability including e.g. customer Service Level Agreement fulfilment
  • Monitors, reports & leads Technical Notes, Workaround Updates, Priority Corrections
  • Monitors, reports & leads software/hardware Quality issues
  • Contributes in creating needed service scope at Care Agreements
  • Leads the technical aspects of TPIM solution, single point of contact towards customer for technical issues
  • Assists the Care Program Manager in Care service delivery by
  • Establishing operating practices
  • Creating and updating Care Schedule
  • Reviewing activities ongoing with the Care Team
Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Excellent TPIM Technical knowledge, minimum of 5 years technical NetAct/GR/NPM/NDW/TPIM experience.
  • Experience in Oracle RAC, DBA skills.
  • Exposure to Platform installation, configuration and administration

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
