Tax Client Support Specialist - San Jose / Seattle
The Tax Client Support Specialist will drive project management of compliance and advisory work on behalf of the client-serving engagement teams as well as handle key account support activities related to the business operations of the engagement/practice assigned. This position will coordinate all tax-related aspects of client personnel’s international assignments which includes accurate data entry and data manipulation utilizing practice/engagement specific tools and databases.
The role handles multiple projects, including coordinating with multiple clients and frequently works with shared service center team members. The position requires someone who demonstrates strong project management skills as well as intermediate to advanced understanding and application of the principles of account/engagement management. In addition, it requires someone who possesses the ability to review their own work, following a checklist of action items as well as the ability to supervise and review the work of others.
The successful candidate will be a self starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate customer needs and complete assignments with limited direction.

Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel at all levels.
Proficiency in the use of standardized software and hardware applications, including MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
Flexible to work overtime, including significant overtime during peak busy seasons.
This position can be filled in San Jose, CA, or in Seattle, WA
A minimum of 1-3 years related experience
