Rivers|Midlands Campus is a 59-bed comprehensive
residential treatment facility for children and adolescents providing
treatment for psychiatric and chemical dependency related illnesses.
We organize our treatment around helping children and teenagers
remove barriers and develop interest in their futures and career
aspirations. Our therapeutic model is collaborative; working with
families, patients and agencies to maximize therapeutic goals and
individual treatment. Three Rivers|Midlands Campus currently has a
3rd Shift, Team Leader (11pm -
7:30am) position available. The candidate selected
will be responsible for the following:

methods and techniques under the supervision of program treatment
professionals and uses those skills to conduct periodic individual or
group sessions as necessary. Provides one-to-one contact with
residents focusing on social development and any problems they might
be experiencing and at time of resident distress.
appropriate crisis intervention as necessary by anticipating and
responding quickly to escalating behaviors, utilizing de-escalation
techniques to diffuse the situation, correctly prioritizing safety
concerns, following proper restraint technique guidelines, and
displaying neutral emotions.
Orients and assists in training of
new staff to unit(s)
Bachelors degree in psychology or a related field
Minimum of one year direct care experience working with adolescents
and children in a residential/juvenile setting.
at least one year demonstrated supervisory experience.
possess demonstrated leadership ability, the ability to communicate
effectively with diverse groups and individuals, strong oral and
written communication skills.
Must possess knowledge of
therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, adolescent growth
and development, limit-setting and behavior management, CPI, CPR
& Verbal De escalation.
Requires valid SC
driver’s license in good standing.
