Telecare Multnomah County Crisis Assessment & Treatment Center, a 16 bed secure residential treatment facility, serves adults with a severe mental illness specializing in peer support and crisis stabilization. The length of stay is less than 6 days.
The Team Leader coordinates the day-to-day functioning of the Team, ensures and/or provides direct services and works with the Administrator in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and services.
-Three years of direct service experience with psychiatric clients in an inpatient or outpatient setting is required
-Two years experience in supervision or administration of case management services
-Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health related field is required
-Must meet requirements to be credentialed as a QMHP in the state of Oregon
-Necessary skills include the ability to work effectively as a member of a culturally competent multidisciplinary team, a thorough understanding of residential rights, an understanding of the Psychiatric Security Review Board and knowledge of basic medical and psychiatric terminology
-Strong written and oral communication skills are required
-Must have completed CPR training or obtain certification within four weeks of hire and pass a criminal background check in accordance with Oregon law
