Job Description
Student may be assisting with tensile, fracture toughness, or stress corrosion crack growth testing and data analysis.

There may be a possibility to perform some finite element modelling of a notched tensile specimen.

Job may include compiling and analyzing in-reactor creep data.

Some work may involve slightly radioactive materials.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must be degree-seeking students enrolled at an accredited college or university.

Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall GPA of 2.5.

All staff at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory must be able to demonstrate the legal right to work in the United States.
Student should have completed the undergrad 101 mechanics of materials course or have previous hands-on experience with mechanical property testing.

Should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel.

Prior experience or knowledge of finite element modelling could be a benefit.

Prior participation in report writing would be helpful.
3.25 GPA or higher is preferred.
