Requirements:

•1-3 years technical/product support experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Experience with a PC and Windows software programs including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
•Proven ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
•Excellent communication (oral and written)
•Typing proficiency: 35-60 wpm.
•Self motivated, detail oriented, and organized

Technical Support Agent Job Summary
The Technical Support Agent is the primary contact for new and existing merchants. Their primary role is to problem solve and address questions regarding TransFirst products and services. They will work in a team environment to maximize individual and team performance.

Responsibilities
•Providing frontline customer support, including hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnosis
•Ask probing questions and provide solutions
•Communicate technical concepts in layman’s terms
•Multitask merchant requests and product issues with a sense of urgency
•Utilize internal systems to research/diagnose the root cause of the issue
•A passion for customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations

Education
College degree preferred but not required

Experience
•1-3 years technical/product support experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Experience with a PC and Windows software programs including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
•Proven ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Bilingual skills in Spanish or Mandarin is preferred but not required
