POSITION OVERVIEW

The Applications Support Associate will be part of a team that is charged with implementing the technical aspects of supporting our client installations. In conjunction with other client facing team members, you will help ensure successful client implementation of AIR solutions, including our Next Generation Platform. You will have an opportunity to work with new and exciting technology, such as HPC, SQL 2012, InstallShield, and VMware, and be among the first to test and ensure all AIR products work seamlessly with the newest technologies by aiding in the installation and testing of AIR products. You will utilize your technical skills and your relationship skills in this client facing position to ensure customers see us as a software solutions provider of choice.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline technical support to internal and external clients with AIR Software
Detect, diagnose, and resolve problems during implementation
Evaluate and execute tools to streamline the implementation and deployment process
Maintain checklist documentation to ensure quality implementations and deployments
Identify client issues and work with internal teams to create a strategy to address problems
Maintain the lines of communication by providing effective feedback on the status of product resolutions with clients
Test and configure systems to replicate client environments
Support of 24/7 production environment as needed
Some travel required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1-2 years minimum technical experience in deployment, engineering or technical support role, with a proven background in client interfacing
Technical skills SQL a plus, software packaging a plus (InstallShield, InstallAnyware)
Well-developed PC skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Visio
Impeccable attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all technical stakeholders including employees, customers and prospective clients
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
BA or BS in a technical discipline or relevant job experience
No third party candidates; local candidates preferred.
