Supports the Henry Schein Dental DTS team selling into DSL accounts and direct sales to DSL customers. Provides product knowledge on TechCentral solutions to DTS's for DSL account by helping create proposals, reviewing proposals, providing answers to technical questions and providing product spec sheets. Facilitates sales into DSL accounts by directly engaging DSL customers in small ticket sales like single computers, support plans, printers, etc. Key performance elements include: sales volume, sales growth rates, gross margin attainment, high quality-efficient installations, and customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers).

Evangelizes TechCentral portfolio of products and services to potential and existing customers:

Achieves monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals. Direct sales, field support sales, support contracts, etc.

Follows sales process with emphasis on proper qualifying and by providing the best solutions for the customer.

Responsible for achieving individual and team sales goals.

Develops sales opportunities leveraging leads, marketing tools and sales promotions.

Creates sales proposals with product information and pricing and send to customers via fax or mail; follow-up to ensure information is received, answer questions, and close sales.

Secures and places orders; maintains records, including related information, of all customer contact.

Educates the customer and sales team to breadth of TechCentral products and communicates benefits of products to both field and healthcare market.

Understands product features and benefits and communicates those both internally and externally.

Works closely with doctors and field sales representatives providing appropriate feedback to Product Management and Sales/Product Trainer.

Works closely with all departments within TechCentral to improve processes based on customer and field feedback

Participates with Product Management and Marketing to identify product roadmap and marketing strategy including local promotional strategies

Assists when needed with trade shows and other field events. This may require travel.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.

Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.


The qualified individual will have no less than three years' experience in the design, sale and support of typical computer, audio and video systems sold into the small practitioner environment.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Understand computers, servers, tablets, including diverse desktop and server operating systems, support hardware, support software, audio and video systems, printers, and all types of supporting cabling.
