Technical Admin Support – Software Licensing

Alpharetta, GA

You will be utilizing your knowledge of software licensing processes and the support of licensing agreements. You are responsible for administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function.
Required Skills and Experience:

Familiar with software licensing and maintenance support for licensing.

What you will do:

  • Maintain records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.
  • Minimize organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.
  • Process all technology purchase request for equipment, software, and services.
  • Administer procedures for approval and fulfillment of mobile technology devices.

  • Accountabilities

  • Support IT Business Operations as follows: Assist with review and approval of maintenance support requirements. Confirm utilization and validate requirements for renewals and charge codes. Track software maintenance renewals to identify essential support requirements. Submit Purchase Requisitions for renewals and new purchases and maintain all records related to the transaction. Submit orders for Personal Computing order entry and fulfillment. Confirm delivery of assets.
  • Performs Administrative functions for Mobile Devices: Receive and track requests through the approval process. Submit POs for capital requirements and maintain all records related to these transactions. Perform monthly reconciliation of usage and recommend modifications to user base. Coordinates with primarily wireless providers as necessary for fulfillment.
  • Assist with IT Asset Management process as follows: Maintain records related to software licensing to include capital requests, purchase orders, invoices, maintenance renewals, license agreements, and internal agreements. Maintain all records related to software transfers including vendor approval documentation. Ad-hoc research and reporting associated with software and hardware entitlements. Mobile Device administration tracking and configuration requirements. Maintain the Technology Software Library as necessary (primary / alternate).
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma- BS-Business Administration preferred
  • Experience & Training: 3 years
  • Knowledge of Purchasing processes, product receipt, delivery, and deployment.
  • Understanding of technology maintenance and support requirements.
  • Working knowledge of technology hardware and software.
  • Excellent Communication skills with internal managers.
  • Adaptable to working with multiple departments.
