Technical Analyst – Application Development, Video Provisioning and Integration
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Position is responsible for supporting multiple projects related to the deliverables of the Video Provisioning and Integration team including addressable interfaces and provisioning and integration of converged products. Position responsibilities include developing the relationship with other corporate and field project and development teams, and assisting with the development, testing & implementation of provisioning solutions of new converged applications. These currently include participation in video development and provisioning projects as they relate to addressable interfaces and operations; implementation of billing enhancements to the ICOMS billing platform to support the integration of Video products and applications with other services. Candidate must possess strong time and priority management skills to coordinate the efforts of implementing and integrating development efforts and must have considerable knowledge and experience with IP video concepts and of Motorola DAC and Cisco DNCS Conditional Access platforms. Basic understanding and experience with ICOMS subscriber management system or other MSO’s subscriber management systems desirable. Strong documentation skills are a must.
Manage team deliverables for assigned products and coordinate resources across teams as required.
Assist in the development of project plans and documentation in support of deliverables.
Assist with the support and implementation of new product application launches and enhancements.
Provide liaison role between Field and Corporate teams in regards to provisioning and integration activities.
Work with and contribute to other departmental teams to develop, test & implement new functionality into lab and production environments.
Involvement in other team projects to ensure the needs of assigned projects are met and updates communicated if necessary.
One or more years work experience.
Technical experience with Cox Video products and platforms highly desirable.
Considerable knowledge and experience with IP video concepts and of Motorola DAC and Cisco DNCS Conditional Access platforms.
Knowledge and experience in provisioning of services and platforms desirable.
Basic understanding and experience with ICOMS subscriber management system or other MSO’s subscriber management systems desirable.
Ability to work with various teams, coach and transfer knowledge.
Ability to adapt to fast paced environment where support of multiple project tracks is required.
High level of customer service focus required.
Strong communication, project management, organizational and documentation skills.
Technical degree or equivalent experience.
