This is a 4 month project with a possibility for extension. The contractor must work the duration of contract on site at client in Nowalk, CT.
The Technical Java Developer configures applications and develops custom code to augment the client application to satisfy requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS:
Ø Translates documented requirements and specifications into a configured Adeptra application.
1. Configures the client application components to define the case data, enrich that data through rule design/implementation, and execute call flows based on customer treatment and contact strategies.
3. Configures inbound and outbound interfaces leveraging the client Link tool.
Ø Conducts unit tests to ensure functionality meets requirements
Ø Troubleshoots and resolves defects as required
Ø Ensures ticketing system updated with testing progress and identified defects

Ø Analyzes documented requirements and specifications to verify understanding and make improvement recommendations.
Ø Communicates with Developers, PM’s, BA;s and others as required to coordinate efforts for speedy outcome
Ø Communicates status as well as any issues\risks and escalate to QA Lead\Project Management in a timely fashion.

REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
Ø Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in programming languages, such as Java, C++, and XML
Ø Strong understanding of quality assurance best practices
Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ø Previous experience in all areas of the Information Technology field, including programming, systems design and SOA environment.
Ø Experience with required platform and environment used, including but not limited to UNIX, MySQL Database, and one or more Industry standard automation tools
Ø Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science, Applications Systems Design, or other related Data Processing field of study.
