Zycron has a great opportunity for a Technical Library - Sr. Web Developer . The selected candidate will be working with our client located in Princeton, NJ. This is a direct hire position.

Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a techno-centric Web Developer whose key strengths are in the areas of front-end web design and development to play a critical role in the ongoing development, maintenance and support of the firm's Technical Library (TL) that supports global audit business transformation by providing a new generation User Experience on a multitude of browsers and mobile devices. This transformational technology is key to equip audit practitioners with the tools and capabilities to perform a truly world-class engagement.

The successful candidate will have a passion for building intuitive and responsive user interfaces consumed by users around the world. S/he understands internationalization, personalization, responsive design, and performance and scale challenges in building such interfaces and have the drive and ability to take on those challenges. S/he is an expert in a wide range of front-end technologies and has delivered solutions for multiple-browser and mobile devices. Ideally, the candidate has become familiar with the server-side technologies as the interaction between the UI and server plays an important role in AJAX applications.

As part of the technology team, this individual will need to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment prototyping, defining and developing the front-end user interface architecture. S/he will work with stakeholders such as the end-users, developers, and testers to ensure the solution meets the necessary quality expectations.

Role Specific Responsibilities:
Design and implement front-end web-based business applications while working closely with developers, architects, testers and business

Analyze, design, develop and test the next generation user-interface / experience.

Ensure timely and quality client service/support is provided to Deloitte's member firms

Leverage past experience and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders

Function independently on assignments with minimal supervision while remaining highly collaborative in a matrixed environment

Create and clearly articulate optimal decisions to meet the business objectives

Ensure software engineering principles are followed in the design, development and testing of our application maintenance initiatives

Support execution activities and approaches for software maintenance, including configuration management during the software development life cycle, appropriate software build and release processes, and patch and maintenance packaging

Operate effectively in global development model

Ensure tight collaboration for problem resolution across the various development and testing functions

Solicit constructive input from and build consensus among groups and constituencies with differing priorities and perspectives

Minimize schedule and technical risk by foreseeing and addressing obstacles proactively and aggressively

People Skills:
Mentor and influence various individuals and teams on best practices and experiences. Effectively cultivate a culture of teamwork and innovation.

Required Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information system or related field. Master's in information systems or business preferred.

Technical Skills:
Strong (8+ years) developing consumer-facing web applications

Proficient in CSS2, CSS3 (media queries), HTML, HTML5 (meta tags), JavaScript, Ext JS, JQuery, & AJAX

Experience with Responsive Web Design, specifically designing, implementing, & testing applications for multiple browsers and mobile devices (specifically IPad)

Experience implementing graphic designs that support personalization, multiple languages, and collaboration features and functions

In-depth knowledge of browser architecture and internals.

Proficient in analyzing, problem-solving and performance tuning web-sites (e.g. caching, image design)

Experience build ASP.NET solutions and integrating with REST-based services

Knowledge of enterprise systems such as DNS, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, DMZ

Need to keep up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment

Experience in working in Global delivery model with team spread in different geographic locations and timezones

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management, and organizational skills

Strong consistency and attention to detail

Innovative and passionate about technology

Experience in mentoring and providing guidance and best practices to other team members

Ability to work with business user stakeholders to explore and refine requirements

Ability to work with other development teams in a large-scale, fast-paced project environment

Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET environment required

Experience with Search applications preferred

Experience with content management systems preferred

Other Qualifications:
Strong team player in the area of application and technology

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Eagerness to mentor junior staff and influence the stakeholders
