Purpose Statement:
This position fulfills the obligations of the Red Rocks Community College Physician Assistant Program to the Colorado Health Foundation and achieves the goals specified in the grant entitled "Build rural Colorado's primary care workforce: a multi-dimensional approach"

Oversee daily activities of the grant: Develop grant work plan. Identify target communities, arrange community engagement visits, and prepare presentation and recruiting materials, communication with target communities, grant partners and granting organization. Track grants project process against intended outcomes. This will entail quantifying community engagement activities, ensuring keys are milestone dates are met, monitoring preceptor recruitment, etc. With the guidance of the Project Director, evaluate grant project progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve project success. Success will be defined by specifications in the grant proposal. With the guidance of the Project Director, evaluate grant project progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve project success. Preparation of all reports on grant activities, including but not limited to budgets, grant outcomes, engagement visits, recruiting metrics etc.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Three years of healthcare related experience or equivalent. Project or grant management experience. This position requires ability to travel to multiple sites outside Metro Denver area. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Colorado driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in public health, public administration, or nonprofit management. Sales or marketing experience. Familiarity with rural communities and familiarity with physician assistants (PA) and PA educational programs.
