This position will provide leadership and supervision to ensure IT infrastructure supports the requirements of the company’s near-term growth goals and is aligned with its long-term growth strategy. Also has overall responsibility for Information Security, Network Administration, and network operations. Plan, install, manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. Monitor and control budgets for the department. Create and maintain an infrastructure roadmap to provide the company with redundant, reliable, and highly-available technology infrastructure within the limits of budget. Manage firewall and Intrusion detection systems. Track and report project task progress and completion in a regular, systematic manner. Develop, maintain and enhance project management processes to develop and deliver projects that meet prescribed benefits, budgets, and dates. Design, plan, and execute significant IT projects to deliver new capabilities that support business requirements. Negotiate contracts with vendors. Maintain and enhance the existing programs for physical asset protection,access control systems management,and video surveillance. Ensure system uptime, performance,and availability service levels are defined and maintained at target levels at all times for all production systems.
Minimum two year degree or business school and five to ten years experience, desire degree and experience in Information Technology. Minimum five years experience with the following: Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange, network routing protocols, Local and Wide Area Networks, as well as VPN, Cisco routers and switches and CISCO firewalls. Five years management experience. Three years experience with DNS. Experience with VLAN, LUN and VM setup, configuration and maintenance. Experience with disaster recovery readiness for areas supported and controlled.
Must possess basic PC skills and knowledge of all Microsoft office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of proper English and punctuation is necessary.
