Ingenium Technologies has an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Training Manager, to develop training content and programs for product development, manufacturing, safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Will actively participate as a valued member of the operations teams to provide leadership, guidance, technical support and provide functional leadership. Must have exceptional skills in building interpersonal relationships including a high degree of tact, diplomacy and ability to influence. Excellent interpersonal skills (training/presentation, leadership coaching, facilitation, team collaboration, communication). Experience in developing and implementing training programs.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Design training curriculum focusing both upon traditional academic and hands-on training instruction.
Develops materials including training and resource manuals for various learning programs.
Update and present customized in-house curriculums targeting all levels of production staff.
Supporting the implementation of applicable quality system requirements and lean six sigma manufacturing techniques.
Ability to identify production problems and identify tasks that need to be performed more efficiently.
Establishes and sustains relationships with external training suppliers and schools.
Researching and recommending viable and cost-effective training programs and facilitate to ensure the curriculum and materials are designed to meet Company needs.
Obtain all necessary approvals on training curriculum design and take ultimate responsibility for implementation; use internal resources to assist with implementation as necessary.
Performs training needs analysis to identify the knowledge, skills and competencies required to complete the tasks efficiently and effectively based on assessment of current production metrics and gap analysis.
Be a key participant in continuous improvement efforts such as Lean/Continuous Flow projects and Quality Site Review meetings.
Continually evolve training curriculum to meet production needs in terms of quality issues, new product launches, or other directional changes.
Identifies and qualifies additional internal instructors, as well as supports their development of appropriate curriculums and materials and provides feedback through auditing.
Develop record keeping system to track what training has been completed and what is due so that a schedule can be developed and distributed.
Required Software: Proficient Computer Skills - MS Office.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Previous experience in Industrial/Occupational Safety a plus.
Thorough knowledge and practical application of safety practices and procedures used in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Lean Six Sigma Experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity of Environmental Health and Safety regulatory requirements and professional best practices.
OSHA, ISO 14000, or ISO 18000 preferred.
Four years experience in developing, delivering and assessing competency based training, ideally in a commercial aircraft environment.
Four years of related manufacturing experience is desirable.
LEAN/Continuous Improvement implementation experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Safety, Environmental Engineering or related field required.
