The Technical Writer will produce end user documents including online help, implementation guides, and software release notes for new versions of RightAngle. This requires the Technical Writer to synthesize complex content into organized, focused release artifacts. They will also update existing end user documents as needed.
The audience for RightAngle artifacts range from novice end users to experienced managers and our customers pull from all departments of an energy commodity trading organization; such as, Traders, Schedulers, and Risk Analysts.
The Technical Writer works collaboratively with Product Management, Development, and QA to fully understand new features of the RightAngle software. They interview people from a variety of technical and business roles and once the research is complete, they must analyze the intended audience and generate content that is most applicable to that audience. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and communication skills as the position requires communication with clients and staff from all levels.
The candidate must have exceptional knowledge of writing techniques.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience in the Commodity markets.
The candidate should have excellent attention to detail and have advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Power Point and Excel.
Candidates must possess the drive to complete tasks within aggressive time constraints, which may require working through off-hours to complete critical deliverables / reports.
