Immediate opening for a full time Lube Technician. Required schedule will be Wed-Sat 7:00am to 6:00pm. Kendall offers excellent pay and benefits, including company sponsored health and dental insurance, flexible spending Account, 401K plan, paid vacation, and company-paid life insurance.

Previous mechanical and lube tech experience is required. Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. Ability to communicate maintenance and vehicle repair needs with customers while providing excellent customer service. Good driving record acceptable for company insurance required.

DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
Perform basic maintenance services on vehicles; includes repetitive mechanical tasks.
Inspect, replenish, drain and fill vehicle fluids and lubricants.
Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance and basic repairs including breaks and tire replacements, balance, and rotations.
Document work and hours per company policies and procedures.
Additional related tasks as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS:
Uses: General mechanic’s hand and power tools, specialty tools and other powered equipment that produces significant vibration and force.
Standing/walking for short distances: 3/4 to entire work shift on hard surfaces.
Sitting: Up to 1/4 of work shift, generally to drive vehicles and short amounts of time on PC.
Carrying/Lifting: frequently up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet; occasionally up to 70 pounds for up to 20 feet(usually tire/wheel assemblies).
Pushing/pulling: frequently, up to 70 pounds force.
Bending and twisting: frequently, to access all areas and parts of vehicles.
Squatting/kneeling: occasionally, on hard surfaces.
Climbing: occasionally, ladders to ten feet.
Reaching above shoulder height: frequently.
Hearing capability adequate to interpret vehicle noises for diagnosis and proper operation, and to hear safety alerts sounded by other employees in the shop.
Sight adequate to perform duties, operate vehicles, and identify shop conditions and hazards.
