Calibration Technician position supports the Quality function for calibration for the Space, Rangeline and Crossroads facilities. Primary assignment will be to identify the frequency and need of tooling that requires calibration. Also to collect tooling and perform calibration activities as assigned for mechanical and electrical tooling within these areas. All tests must have supporting documentation and data that is complete, accurate and submitted on time. All processes will be in compliance to Quality standards and customer specifications. Position will work with minimum supervision within company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
•Ability to lead other QC employees to read, understand and follow detailed instructions that involve multiple steps, intricate equipment.
•Accurately review production schedules to develop the timing and organization of Inspection assignments.
•Understand and maintain the workflow in the assigned area to ensure effective use of resources.
•Coordinate with Customer representatives to support their inspection requirements.
•Participates in the resolution of hardware problems or process non-compliances working with supervisors of Quality, Engineering and Production.
•Working knowledge of AS9100 standards for quality control
Position Requirements:
•High school diploma/GED equivalent. Associates degree or equivalent education preferred
•Able to work flexible hours when required
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Detail oriented to accurately review data and document problem resolutions
•Able to multi-task, communicate well and train others as needed
•Excellent record of attendance and reliability
•U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
