EaglePicher is looking for a Test Technician for its Aerospace operations. This position will support Quality functions for Joplin (Space) facility in all areas of Quality represented by EaglePicher for AS9100, ISO2001 and ISO13485. Position will work with minimum supervision within company policies and procedures.
•Responsible for mechanical and/or electrical testing of materials, devices and products as well as test fixtures and general test equipment maintenance
•Review of Test Procedures provided by Engineering for accuracy and completeness
•Determine the appropriate test configuration, equipment set up and test check out prior to testing customer hardware
•Review test data to determine out of specification anomaly or failures
•Support the Space Test Lab Manager in Continuous Improvement projects related to Test Lab processes and all equipment
•Be able to assist the configuration and interface of related Test Controllers and cooling devices.
•Responsible for complying with quality systems procedures as required
•Aid in the design, documentation, manufacture, and maintenance of automated battery/cell test equipment
•Associate degree or equivalent education related to Electronics and Basic Electricity
•Education or experience which includes refrigeration certification (ASE or similar) is desired but not required
•Ability to work some overtime if needed
•Computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
•Detail-oriented to accurately review data and document problem resolutions
•Able to multi-task, communicate well and train others as needed
•Strong team player who is able to interface with a variety of groups
•Excellent record of attendance and reliability
•U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
