As a

Technical Product Manager

, in our Corporate IT department of
Guy Carpenter, you will be responsible for the technology plans to
support all applications and tools associated with the data analysis,
data management, production, administration, documentation and
distribution of survey products prior to client delivery.

role serves as a key advocate for the operations team, liaising with
Solutions Delivery to achieve the following: ensuring a stable, reliable
and efficient production environment; developing tools to support
additional business efficiencies in data quality, production and
resources; and reducing total cost of ownership of our business



Defines an overall development and implementation strategy for the suite of applications used by the operations team.

part of the leadership team, work directly with application users
and stakeholders, product delivery, production, data management and
development teams to drive the efficiency and accuracy of
production tools.

with these groups, conduct stakeholder research for business
innovation, assist with product design, gather user requirements
and encourage ease of use in product design.

in the development of operations strategies,
production/administration process and ensure that the specific
vision for survey operations fits within the overall IPS software
product strategy.

Clearly articulating to the business and clients how the technology aligns with the overall business strategy.

Be the critical business interface with software development teams for survey operations tools innovation.

Drive applications development in support of best practice data management and production processes.

key business processes into IT system requirements and partnering
with Software Product Management on linkages to client delivery

new technologies and integrate into our existing solutions to expand
our capabilities and separate us from our competitors.

Develop and communicate product roadmaps to stakeholder teams, senior leaders and others within the business.

Leading the identification of gaps between current-state technology architecture and reference (target) architecture.

Refine current 3 year technology roadmap of key initiatives to support the vision.


Plan, organize and manage team to deliver on project.

Manage schedule and budget.

with business analysts to develop detailed designs and
requirements and coordinate with the development manager to develop
project plans.

and maintain an overall product delivery plan that includes
software development, communications, implementation, support and
related services.

communicate plans and strategies to all stakeholders including
related teams such as knowledge management and indirect
sales teams.

with Global Operations leadership to ensure smooth execution of
upgrades, releases and roll-outs across all survey operations teams.


10-15+ years IT experience, with an emphasis on technology product management

Must have strong relationship management experience

Ability to
interface with senior leadership, business stakeholder and development teams.

Experience with organization and
process development

A background in analytics or mathematics a plus

Insurance or Reinsurance experience a plus
