Skills and abilities to
nstall, modify, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both voice and non-voice communication systems including central office, private branch automatic exchanges, local area network systems, telephone sets, wire carrier equipment, communication cable, alarm systems, intercom and public address systems, and teletype equipment. Knowledge of telephone and data circuitry equipment and installation procedures and knowledge of basic electrical and electronic principles as they pertain to voice and non-voice transmissions. Ability to understand and follow such technical guidance as circuit descriptions, schematics, and layout sheets and locate and repair trouble within the telecommunications system.
High School/GED, Military technical training/formal apprenticeship/trade school desired.
4 yrs related experienc
Must be able to obtaine a government clearance.
