Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing network infrastructure implementation, meeting business requirements, and ensures optimal performance. Additionally, this position shall communicate with other departments concerning status of projects, equipment procurement, and meeting the customer objectives for service delivery.

Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of network projects and assisting in the evaluation of new technology/releases. Analyst needs to be prepared to follow the organization’s Project Management process including developing charters, recommendations for changes, project timelines, and expense planning.

Proficiency and experience in installation; data networks, leased circuits, microwave systems, routers/switches, and WAN/LANs. Experience with microwave and satellite systems is required. Additionally, experience with desktop support and customer applications is a plus.

Technical proficiency and experience in installation, maintenance, and testing of multiple radio platforms, leased circuits, satellite, serial networks, and electrical systems is required. A working knowledge of EFM, SCADA, and RTUs, phone systems, routers/switches, cable plants, and WAN/LANs will be helpful. Knowledge of NEC electrical area classifications pertinent to oil/gas facilities, electronic intrinsic safety methods, oil/gas well site, gathering, compression and separation operations and safe practices is a plus.

Associates degree in electronics or equivalent training is required.

Good organizational, interpersonal, fiscal, project management, and personal computing skills including Microsoft Office suite. The applicant must have the ability to self-direct daily activities/priorities and work effectively with remote supervision.
