Responsibilities of this position include:|
Answering incoming calls to the Medical Center and providing information services for calls directed to operator, overhead paging and individual beeper paging. Coordinate Code Blue, Code Yellow, Code Red and Pediatric Code procedures

High School diploma or equivalent required
2-3 years prior experience in customer service and/or experience with a mid-size telecommunications system, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting required
Superior verbal communication skills required
Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm required
Physical Demand Analysis:
Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time.
Visual: Average. Extensive exposure to video display terminals (VDTs).
Hearing: Average. Ability to hear normal conversation and telephone communications
Working Conditions: Office setting
