Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences with up to two years related experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations. Seven years experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations in a mental health setting may be substituted for educational requirement.

Job Description Summary

Assist callers or walk in mental health assessment consumers that are requesting outpatient services. Must have experience in risk assessment to determine if immediate response is needed to maintain the safety of the caller or others. Knowledge of community resources is necessary to assist callers with viable resources. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills as well as crisis intervention skills. Experience with electronic health records preferred.
