VCU Health System Ambulatory Care seeks PRN LPN staff to support the Ambulatory Care Clinics.
- Associates degree is preferred
Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of patient care as defined by ambulatory care nursing philosphy. Under the guidance of the clinical manager, registered nurse, or physician, the LPN provides individualized, direct patient care to promote restoration of health and achievement of patient health goals for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics with medical/surgical conditions common in the ambulatory care environment. The LPN performs nursing functions in accordance with established policies and procedures, and standards of nursing care and practices.
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire
LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible
AHA BLS Certification or equivalent
Any other competency deemed necessary and validated prior to performance in any specific clinic of assignment

Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience required
Level and type of experience PREFERRED
Previous clinical nursing experience preferably in an ambulatory care environment preferred
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse Program
