DESCRIPTION

ABN Technologies is now collecting resumes for Administrative Professionals to be utilized as needs arise for our government client.

These positions are for Level 1 and Level 2 Administrative Personnel for our Puget Sound client. Offices are located in Downtown Seattle. All positions are temporary-from a one day assignment to longer.

Extended employment with ABN Technologies or this client will be determined based on performance and positions available.

DUTIES

Expectations for all Personnel:
  • Technical expertise and ability to use knowledge base effectively; strong skills
knowledge, and understanding of the area of responsibility assigned.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
  • Ability to work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions and a high degree of public contact by phone or in person.
  • Ability to plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other departments, Agency officials, and outside agencies.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Ability to provide quality services, take initiative and be flexible.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications
What you'll be doing ...
Our employees will use subject-matter knowledge and judgment to provide a hands-on, front-line service to staff. Providing outstanding customer service is expected. Responsibilities include clerical, secretarial, and administrative support involving a high level of public contact.

Level 1 Employees will provide entry or mid-level administrative support to a project, program, division or department, while performing routine to moderately challenging administrative and clerical duties.

Level 2 Employees will provide a high level of administrative support to a project, program, division or department, while performing a broad range of office management and technical support for Directors and above.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who you are ...
  • An Office Superstar. You are proficient in all of the right software & office equipment, have strong verbal and written communication, and are able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Resourceful. You have a strong work ethic, are self-directed, and open to feedback.
  • A True Team Player. Collaboration leads to great results. You want to help others in making their day easier!
  • Experienced. You have at least 2 years Office experience in a Microsoft environment that includes working independently with limited daily guidance. For Level 2, we will be looking for 5 years minimum including 2 years as an office manager for a large or complex organizational unit.
  • Educated. HS diploma; some college level course work in office practices or business administration.
  • Service Minded. You deliver customer support like you expect to receive it; with excellence.
  • Availability. You have the ability to work some or all weekdays from 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • Clean Background. ABN Technologies performs reference checks and a background check on all employees, so you will need to be prepared for that.
Working Conditions:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment, with some walking, standing, and bending; and the occasional lifting & carrying of small packages.
