The Temporary Human Resources Admin serves as a key administrative position within HR. This position is responsible for data entry, scheduling interviews, assisting with the on boarding process, creating new hire packets and running background checks. This position is also responsible for sourcing and screening new hires as well as supporting recruiting efforts within other areas of the company including other locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in screening, updating and processing candidate profiles in applicant tracking system
Handle application questions or issues from applicants and employees
Performs administrative activities for HR including, but not limited to; interview scheduling, processing criminal background checks, making offers, sending correspondence, filing, and updating reports and employee profiles.
Maintains confidentiality of all information handled.
Create and make copies for access packets and new hire orientation folders
Assist with new hire paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assist with on-boarding duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor's degree preferred and 1 or more years Human Resource experience required.
TECHNOLOGY SKILL BASE
This position requires a working knowledge of computer technology that includes: Windows, PowerPoint, Advanced Word and Excel. Individual must possess the ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as introduced by Alta Resources.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to eight hours, and stand. Manual dexterity which allows the individual to use hands to type on a keyboard, use a mouse and write are required, as is the ability to talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
