Perform secretarial and a variety of general office duties in support of the TRiO Student Support Services Grant.

Essential Functions:
Greet and screen office visitors and callers; personally handle routine matters and refer more complex matters to the appropriate staff.
Organize and maintain operational and project data; gather and compile statistical data as requested.
Prepare and process billings, purchase requisitions, work orders, expense reports and requests for pay; order and maintain office supplies; may maintain expenditure records and assist with maintenance of budget accounts. Maintain appointment schedules; schedule meetings and make meeting arrangements.
Perform clerical support activities: conduct registration for project/grant events; assist in preparing newsletter or other project/grant communications or promotional materials; prepare and process materials to Information Processing, Copy Room and Printing; duplicate, assemble and distribute materials.
Convey information to and from project/grant participants and supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of general office or secretarial work experience. (Postsecondary education in any field may substitute for the required experience. Fifteen semester hours are equivalent to 6 months of experience.)
Knowledge of current software applications and Microsoft Office. Experience in database management. Ability to interact effectively, courteously and impartially with diverse populations.

Desirable Qualifications:
Associates degree or one year general office or secretarial experience in an educational setting. Experience in Banner and Blumen database management. Experience with TRiO programs.
